When I’m in town and in a relaxed mood, I like to start a Saturday morning with a farmers market and end the morning with a spectacular brunch — most of the time at my favorite brunch place, Slow Club. This past saturday was our first farmers market visit in a long time — as this past year was a busy one. It was such a beautiful morning. The market we go to is in Alemany — pleasant, down to earth and true to the farmers spirit. I’m a bit dismayed by some farmers markets — they shall remain unnamed — that have become a pretentious and over-priced experience. Alemany attracts people from everywhere, speaking every language. The market has something for everyone — some go to shop and some go to hdangout. It’s great.
And of course our usual for brunch: Bourbon French Toast and the Turkey Hash. mmmm nom nom.
